I went to Philadelphia twice and both times my ankles and feet got swollen while I was there. This has never happened to me any other time. I live in Massachusetts. Could this have anything to do with a change in altitude?
Hello and thank you for your question. I am not sure why your ankles would get swollen when going to PA. There is not that big of a difference with elevation that I doubt it was that. It could be increased walking, less walking, change in diet, increased salt intake. There are many variables when it comes to ankle swelling. I would better track when you see it and if there are any other changes, any pain associated and what decreases the swelling.
