sorness within the feet

Hi, my name is kayla and I was wondering why my feet is hurting do much when it wasn’t before. It all started this week Monday due to standing all day due to work(7 hours) and yesterday I was sitting down most of the day and only standing on my feet for 4 hours but when I got home it was sore and now today working another 7 hours its still sore, Its inside of my feet and little bit of my heal, is there anyway I can prevent or take anything to help with the pain?     Hello and thank you for your question. I would start by releasing your feet on a golf ball or lacrosse ball for 10 minutes every night followed by 5 minutes of calf stretching. If we stress our feet by standing, walking, running too long and do not recover with stretching, rolling or rest we will ultimately get foot pain. So remembering the above is important. You can also include icing your feet for 10 minutes and taking an NSAID daily for 1 – 2 weeks. If your pain persists then I’d recommend seeing a Podiatrist in person to get a more thorough evaluation. I hope this helps!
