Slight, persistent pain under front of my foot

Hi. I have an slight, annoying pain on the bottom of my left foot reaching up to where my toes bend. The pain is not always there but surfaces most when I first get out of bed and then gradually throughout the day. Sometimes it’s also in my right foot in the same spot as my left. I got brand new shoes and new insoles cause I’m on my feet at work for 8 to 9 hours a day, but I still feel this pain.  Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your question. Have you been doing any releases of your feet? This is the most important thing you can do for your feet especially if you are standing 8 – 9 hours a day. Even the best shoes and inserts cannot offset the stress of standing this long. I suggest standing on a golf ball or RAD Roller ( for 10 minutes at the end of each day. This can be followed with calf stretches for 5 minutes. If your pain persists after doing the foot releases for 1 week then I’d see a Podiatrist to determine if a injection is necessary. I hope this helps!
