I have a sharp pain localized on the outer side of left foot ball at edge of bottom of ball.
Hello and thank you for the question. Without examining you or seeing exactly where you are describing the pain it is difficult for me to give you a diagnosis or recommendation.
If you could provide a picture marking exactly where the pain is this will greatly assist me. I can give general recommendations such as making sure you have appropriate footwear that is supportive and not putting pressure on any of the bones or joints in the foot.
In addition you want to begin to integrate daily foot release for 10 minutes. I suggest a product called Yamuna Foot Wakers. If your pain persists after switching footwear and doing daily foot release then I would suggest seeing a Podiatrist who can better evaluate you.
I hope this helps.

I have similar pain on the same side of my left ball of foot under my left toe. It comes and goes consistently over the last 6 months. It feels like fire and sharp stinging.
