Running today and felt a pop

I have been having tenderness or soreness on the space between my little 3 toes. Today as I was in a race, I felt a pop when I was sprinting toward the finish. It hurt but I finished. But now I can’t hardly walk, and it feels no pain pushing down, but if I try to flex my toes up, it kills.
I have a Half Marathon on Feb 2…how do I get relief ?
Is it just soft tissue or something worse?

    Based off of your symptoms, I recommend you see a Podiatrist to get a thorough examination and X-rays. My concern is that you may have a stress fracture. This is more of a clinical diagnosis as stress fractures typically do not show up on early X-rays.

    Recovery for a stress fracture can vary between a couple weeks (if it is sub-acute) to 8 weeks if it is a full fracture. If it is not a stress fracture then the Podiatrist would be able to determine if it was a joint issue or a soft tissue injury. In the mean time I would ice the top of your foot and limit your activity.
