recurring pain

I have had the problem for a few years now, and tends to happen once ever few months. I have been to urgent care everytimes it happens and they say nothings broken and that maybe i have weak muscle tissue..? The pain is on the right side/ bottom of my foot but not in my heel area. I felt it tingling a little bit yesterday but when i woke up this morning i cld barely get out of bed and cld not put pressure on it. This problem usually hits me when i wake up and have this severe pain. Usually i get pain meds, told to keep elevated and got a boot for my foot. Dr usually says shld be ok in a day or two but it usually last more like 4 days. I have no idea what or why this keeps happening… Any help would be great..thank you

Thank you for your question. Without examining you it is difficult for me to accurately diagnosis what may be causing your foot pain. I recommend seeing a Podiatrist instead of a general medical doctor or urgent care doctor. A Podiatrist is trained accurately assess biomechanical, neurological and rheumatological causes of foot pain. In the mean time I would minimize your activity and control any inflammation or swelling to the area.

    Good luck!
