I seem to have a very persistent plantar wart and don’t know how to get rid of it. What is the best treatment that would ensure it will not come back. Thanks.
Hello and thank you for your question. There are many home remedies that you can try to address a plantar wart, however due to the nature of plantar warts these treatments are minimally effective. Your best bet is to see a Podiatrist who can either burn or freeze the wart. Plantar warts are caused by a virus which can be quite stubborn. Depending on the size of your wart, it may take several treatments for a complete recovery. In the mean time, do not pick at the plantar wart as it can get under your nails and easily spread to your hands and face.
