I have m.s. and for last month have had pain in right foot when trying to stand, flex foot (rotate) and walk. Could it be m.s. related?

Hello and thank you for your question. I treat many patients with MS and foot pain is common. If you have any change in your gait this can increase the impact forces when you walk or contact the ground. Higher impact when walking can lead to heel pain, Achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis.

What I would do is start part stretching the calves and feet daily. I would do 10 minutes of calf / foot stretching daily. In addition I would make sure you are wearing appropriate footwear that has sufficient cushion and arch support.

If you have not looked at the footwear by Aetrex I would suggest checking out If your pain persists then I would find a Podiatrist to better evaluate you.

    I hope this helps!
