On Memorial Day, I went to take a step, but quickly had to change directions while just my toes were on the floor, thereby making a twisting motion in mid step. It swelled up & hurt quite a bit. I elevated the foot & placed ice on it the entire next day. I stopped all exercising for a week & it felt like it was slowly getting better. I was able to ride my bike, but not walk or run yet. I tried a lower body work out yesterday that involved some squats & lunges & today it is sore. I can rotate my ankle with no problem, bend my toes without pain, but if I press on the top middle part of my foot, it is painful. It has been over 3 weeks since my injury. Do I just need to rest it more or did I maybe injure a tendon?
