Both of my second toes have this problem. Both of them overlap the third toe. What can be done about this? Is the surgery the only way to fix this or can products be used to fix this? What about the pedifix toe straighter? What can I do about this?
Hello and thank you for your question. Crossover digits or digit contractures are a common dysfunction treated in the Podiatry setting. Depending on whether the digits are flexible or rigid would determine how effective toe straighteners would be. I would speak to a Podiatrist about your options. In many cases surgery is the only true solution, and is a routine procedure with a high success rate. I hope this helps – good luck!
