Numbness and a Bruise

I have had intermittent numbness on the top of my right foot over the past months. This morning, I also have a bruise, though I have suffered no trauma. The toes are also very cold (not exceptional, but mentionable).
I have no history of diabetes, though I am being ‘worked up’ for MS. I do have a history of low B12 and hypothyroidism, and am due for blood tests next months.
Should I seek medical attention for this? My doctors are aware of the numbness, but the bruising is the real question….

Thanks!
Vicki

Thank you for your question. Without examining you it is very difficult for me to say exactly what may be causing the bruise on your foot. I would recommend seeing a Podiatrist who can better evaluate your foot. In the mean time, I would track to see if you get any additional bruising on your body (not just the foot) which can better help your Doctor during his diagnosis.

    Good luck!
