I am getting ready to run a half marathon and my foot is fine for the first few miles and then starts to bother me. I have the pads and have switched shoes. It actually bothers me even when I am not running if I hit it just right. Anyway, my question is, Could I have a physician give me a shot of steroid into it to help during this run?

Hello and thank you for your question. I would suggest having your feet evalualated by a Podiatrist and then to even determine if running the race is feasible. You may have a stress fracture or an injury that really should not be run on at all. I cannot determine this with the information you provided and therefore suggest seeing the in-person Podiatrist before your race. Good luck!
