Under left big toe

When I walk or stand for long periods of time under my left fat toe get swollen and is very painful. I have not want 4 a few days just around the home and the swelling has gone down and it doesn’t hurt it feels like a callus now normally when I’m walking or standing for long periods it swells up so big that I can’t put pressure on it

    Without examining your feet, I cannot say exactly what is causing your pain. If it is in fact a painful callus then this would be caused by pressure from shoes or pressure related to the way you are walking or standing.

    I would start by making sure your shoes fit properly and if you do have calluses you will want to make sure you are keeping them smooth. You can use a pumice stone after a shower. If your pain persists I would recommend seeing a Podiatrist who can evaluate your feet in person.
