From flip flops to heels, summer season is notorious for “bad” shoes. Your classic flip flop is associated with poor arch support, minimal cushion and flimsy design. Surprisingly, there are more foot injuries associated with flip flop wear, than high heels. If you are looking for a flip flop without the injury risk, I recommend a flip flop with built in arch support, thicker foot straps and supportive heel. Aetrex makes a great line of summer sandals that are not only fashionable – but provide proper foot support and cushion.
