What are good options to replace the “bad” flip-flop?

There is a lot of buzz about the negative impact of flip-flops and that they can lead to serious foot problems.

What are good options to instead of the “bad” flip-flops that will not be so harmful for my feet?

Hello and thank you for your question. If you consider your classic flip flop (such as Havanas) they are typically associated with poor arch support, minimal cushion and flimsy design. If you are looking for a flip flop without the injury risk, I recommend a flip flop with built in arch support, thicker foot straps and supportive heel.

Aetrex makes a great line of summer sandals that are not only fashionable – but provide proper foot support and cushion. http://www.aetrex.com/sandals-thong/
