Ganglion cysts on feet

I have ganglion cysts on both of my feet. I got them shortly after exiting the military in the 1980s. Is it possible to tie these cysts to my military career (wearing combat boots, no shoe inserts, excessive running, carrying heavy weights because of job, etc.)?

Hello and thank you for your question. We get ganglion cysts when the bones or joints get stressed which could include your military time. Have you seen a Podiatrist for them? They can easily be drained and then injected with a steroid. They may return but not immediately and if they keep returning you can have them surgically cut out. I hope this helps!
