Foot pain & toes pinch

Do you have advise? My foot started bothering me. Partly by the toes, feel pinch, but mostly on the left foot on the side that face my other food by my heal. I Don’t have tennis shoes right now, they are left at my grandma home. Is there any advise to make it feel better? Walking on it? Keeping it easy? Walking on it but also keep it easy? Ice? Hot bath? (It the arch part of the foot and up the foot that bothering me the most. I was bare foot and I was holding my niece, then I bend down with her, lift her up, and i felt a strain.

    Thank you for your question. Without examining you it is hard for me to fully understand what may be causing your foot pain. With all foot pain I advise patients to minimize their activity and control any inflammation to the area. If you do not have sneakers I would avoid walking barefoot until your pain subsides.

    Icing is always a great anti-inflammatory or you can take oral anti-inflammatory such as Advil or Aleve. If your pain persists I would recommend seeing a Podiatrist who can better evaluate you. Good luck!
