Foot Fatigue

Good Morning, I’ve been dealing with sore and tired feet for the last 5 years. My feet get sore sometimes after only a couple hours of work. (I walk and stand frequently but sit down as well). My question is can Achilles tendinitis or tight hamstrings and calves cause foot pain? I’ve also had an issue with lower back pain at one point. Stretching seemed to alleviate that issue. I go through different kinds of insoles but nothing helps.

Thanks

    Thank you for your question.

Standing can be very hard on the body and feet leading to sore feet. When we stand, our hamstrings, calves and bottom of the feet get very tight. Stretching is a way to alleviate this but I prefer myofascially releasing the tissue by standing on a golf ball or RAD Roller (www.radroller.com).

I’d start releasing your feet for at least 5 minutes in the morning and evening. Insoles can also help reduce the stress to the feet but you want to make sure you are using the correct insoles.

I often recommend Aetrex Lynco inserts http://www.aetrex.com. I hope this helps!
