extreme intermittent pain in foot and toes

extreme pain on bottom of right foot between ball area out to the ends of the 3 middles toes. it is a mixture of burning , cramp like(but not actually cramping) and pins and needles. an episode lasts anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. primarily to the right foot but have had minor episodes to the left foot as well . i do have a bunion on the right foot , however there is no swelling ,heat or tenderness this area at all and so i have assumed that it is not relative as both feet have been affected as well.

Thank you for your question. Without examining you it is very difficult for me to say exactly what may be causing your pain. I would recommend seeing a Podiatrist who can better evaluate your foot. In the mean time, try to track what activities or movements increase the pain, and what/if anything decreases the pain. This information will better help the Podiatrist with diagnosing the cause of your pain. Good luck!
