Difficulty walking

Been told I have plantar (both feet) no pain in heel but in arch and forward after I go about 30-40 minutes of walking. Otherwise normal walking around the house I am fine, no pain only with extensive walking. Have it over a year now. Had inserts made and always wore very good arch support shoes. Had a high arch but on the left foot Dr. said arch had fallen. Do my exercises, stretches, etc. every day, never missed a day, do 3-4 times a day. Can’t wear the devices at night, can’t sleep with those on. Is there something else that can be done? Never had the shots. My tour days are over, travel a great deal and taking tours/excursions are impossible for me now due to all the walking. Am I missing something that can be done?

Hello and thank you for your question. Have you had any imaging? If you have had arch pain / plantar fasciitis for a long period and not getting better than it deems getting an MRI. Often times you can have degeneration or partial tears that need to be addressed. If your MRI shows degeneration then I’d speak to your Podiatrist about stem cell injections or other regenerative medicine options. I hope this helps!
