I have a deep corn on the bottom of my foot below 5th toe have had it debrided many times the core is painful to touch as it goes like a shot up to the outside of my 5th toe Have had orthotics changed shoes cannot walk barefoot
Hello and thank you for your question. You will need to continuously shave / debride this corn as it is directly related to pressure. Although orthotics can help offload the area they cannot totally eliminate the pressure. Do your orthotics have a 5th met head cut out? If not then this definately needs to be added to your orthotics. If you have to be barefoot then you can use a u-pad which can be purchased at http://www.alimed.com I hope this helps!
