I got a bump literally overnight on the rear of my heel, towards the outside of the foot. I do stand a lot on the job
not really any pain in the heel. I don’t ever wear heels, and mostly supportive shoes. I do suffer in the summer months more than winter. I wear ankle boots mostly in the winter. I do have an old injury to the outside of the ankle, I dropped a heavy weighted item on that foot years ago and get some tinlglng in it. nerve damage?
When it acts up, I wear an elastic ankle support. I work on my feet 8 hours at a time.
Hello and thank you for your question. Without examining your foot it is hard for me to say exactly the cause of the bump, however it sounds like it may be bursitis or Haglund’s deformity.
To really give more advise I would need additional information such as is it painful, when it is painful, what type of pain etc.
Thank you very much.
