Constant pain after accident

I had a seizure, wrecked and totaled my vehicle and someone else’s on February 2, 2017. Ever since then my left foot, about 5 inches from the back of my ankle to the top part of my foot hurts all the time. I can’t squat without it hurting really bad. I limp when I walk and I don’t want it to get worse. When they took me to the Emergency Room I went without my left shoe. At the time it hurt a little but i didn’t think it was a big deal. Plus after I have a seizure I’m a little foggy. Its been six months and I am really worried about it. Are there any suggestions you can give me. Thank you for your time.

Hello and thank you for your question. I would suggest seeing a Podiatrist who can better evaluate your feet in person and determine if you need orthotics. When you put excess pressure on the inside of the this typically requires orthotics or custom insoles for your feet. If you do not have access to a Podiatrist I would try using Lynco insoles by Aetrex (www.aetrex.com) and see if this helps to balance out your feet. I hope this helps
