So heres the thing, the underside of my heels look like the surface of da' moon, it well mingin'. Its esp bad after wearing shoes all day. The skin is being eaten/degraded/disolved in circular leisions and although there is no pain there is ultimately less skin supporting my heel so there is mild discomfort. Would like to get this recurring issue fixed up but I cant find any reference to these conditions/symptoms. Any ideas, I sure need help on this one.

Dear CDRW-80
The cratering in the skin may be due to excessive sweating in your shoes which is causing bacteria to form and breakdown the skin surface. You should change your socks frequently, don't wear the same shoes twice in a row, and apply an antiperspirant spray to your foot or powder. If your symptoms do not resolve you will need to see a Podiatrist for an evaluation. You may need a prescription for a topical antibiotic or prescription roll-on to help alleivate the excessive perspiration. The doctor will also be able to accurately diagnose your condition during the physical examination and differentiate it from other possible entities.
