Well I have had a corn on each of my baby toes and now that it's gone there still is a white spot left on there, that I can't seem to get rid of. Every summer I watch other women wear sandals with their toes out and I can't. I just want to wear flip flops like every body else. The corns no longer hurt I just want my baby toe to turn fully brown with no white spot on it. Is there any solution to the problem that I am having

chicagogirl,
Several years ago , I had a friend with the same problem. This is what she did...she had the color tatooed back on. I was there when it was done, she said that it didn't really hurt. The artist that did it said that it may have to be redone at some point.I am not sure if she ever had to . I hope this helps.

Dear Chicagogirl
The color to the toe can also be accomplished by performing a skinplasty, meaning surgically removing the hypopigmented area. Since this problem is more cosmetic, you will have to check with your insurance to see if the procedure is a covered service. Also, more importantly, you will need to see a Podiatrsit to check to see if you are an appropriate surgical candidate for the procedure, pay close attention to the surgical couse, post-op couse and possible complications involved following the case.
