Full Version: Panful spot under small toe a bit...

Dave
I have developed an area of pain, less that dime sized, about a half inch under my small toe on the bottom of my right foot. It is slighly raised, and appears to have a small white center. It is not any softer than any other spot near that area of my foot, in fact the "head" of the spot seems dryer and a bit rougher. There is no visible discharge. At any rate, it pains me when pressure is applied on the spot, and throbs for a short time after getting off my feet at the end of the day.

Any ideas what it may be ?

Dear Dave
It could be a corn or callus. Both of which develop secondary to pressure. I would recommend that you see a podiatrist for an evaluation, since corns, calluses and even warts can look very similar. He/she will be able to recommend an appropriate treatment regime based on your particular diagnosis.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
