Full Version: Pain In Little Toe...after bathing?!

Hi, I have searched everywhere for an answer to why my little toe might be hurting, but can't seem to find anyone who knows anything about it. The problem is... after I get out of the bath, if I have been in there for 30 minutes or so reading or something, my little toe starts hurting horribly when I walk on it. It hurts to touch it, even! I have no idea why, and it doesn't hurt at all any other time, and goes away about an hour or so after I get done bathing. But while it is hurting, it is enough to make me want to take some pain relievers.

There is no growth on the outside, or anything like that that I can see. It almost feels like it's the joint or bone that is causing the pain on the inside. Has anyone ever heard of this before, or know what might be causing it, or what to do about it? Thanks!

Dear Jessica
Could the pain possibly be caused by the position that you are in while in the bath??? On physical examination bony pathology is not always visible. An x-ray would be necessary to visualize the bone. I would recommend that you see a Podiatrist for a thorough examination and appropriate treatment plan.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
