My right foot is swollen and hurts on the top. It hurts for me to bend my big toe, and down to the top of foot connected to big toe. What could be the cause of this? I have recently started working out at a gym, but have not hurt or twisted my foot (that I know of). It has been hurting for about three to four days. I would appreciate any information about this before I call a Dr.
Thanks, Robbie

Dear Robbie
What you may be experiencing is a tendonitis to the long tendon that goes down to the big toe and originates on the leg. You'll need to see a Podiatrist in order to get a proper diagnosis. A physical exam is an essential part of making an accurate diagnosis.
