I had surgery for Morton's Neuroma about three years ago. Right after the surgery, I still had pain, although it seemed that the area of pain/type of pain changed. The doctor gave me several cortizone injectons, but nothing really helped. I am now seeing a new doctor. I have tried inserts for my condition, which seemed to help for a while, but now the pain is worse than ever. The new doctor tried a procedure where he injected alcohol into the area, but it didn't help. I am now at the point where I am considering surgery again. I asked my new doctor what the success rate was for having a 2nd sugery and he said it was good, maybe 8 out of 10 for him. Can anyone give me some feedback on your own experiences, etc. Thanks.

I sympathize with you 100%! I have / had Morton's Neuroma, had all kinds of injections, etc. but did not have surgery. What finally worked for me is an arch support that exercises the muscles in the foot, and has a metatarsal lift that takes the pressure off the front of my foot. Foot Efx stores have them.
