Full Version: swollen ankle/foot

I've been taking diclofenacs (voltarol) for 18 months. The tabs enable me to walk normally as prior to having a prescription the pain in my right heel was so bad I hobbled like an old lady. Doc says its plantar fascitus (wrong spelling I know). Only thing I'm concerned about - apart from the fact I'll be taking tablets for ever - is that my foot is permanently swollen and sometimes the skin feels really tight. Doc doesn't seem concerned about it but I worry about possible blood clots. Is it normal to have a swollen foot with this condition? I would appreciate anyone's comments.
