Full Version: Wierd markings

Mike
I'm a paramedic, however, not a foot specialist. A couple of days ago, I discovered a strange marking on both feet. On the right, just where the arch meets the ball. On the left, smaller ones, one near the big toe, and one on the ball near the little toe.

They seem to look like burns, almost like burned paper that turns brown. Or as if I stepped in wood varnish. There is absolutely no pain, itching, or any discomfort. I found them in the shower on morning.

I checked my shoes and socks in the hamper, and there are no matching discolorations. The ER doc said it's probably my boots, although I checked those too, and she would'nt even look.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Mike
Is there any firm tissue associated in those particular areas? I would suggest that if this does not wash away that you may want to go and see a Podiatrist to have a look.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
