I'm a runner, been running for nearly 4 years now. In the past month i've been having foot pain, in the arch area. I was told it was Plantar Fasciitis. I know its not my shoes, i've been using the same kind for a good year now, and theese don't even have 300 miles yet. I got some insoles today, but it almost felt worse. Any suggestions?

When you choose an insert you want to consider the type of foot you have and the footwear you are putting the insert in. I would suggest having the length and width of your foot measured (your foot size can change overtime) and have your athletic shoe fit with the insert. You may need a larger sneaker or one that has more depth to accommodate the insert. If you have flat feet you will want an orthotic that is posted. You can read more about plantar fasciitis and conservative treatments on Foot.com.
