Help! For the past few weeks, I've had a sore foot and I can take alot of pain. It is constant and worsens when toes are pointed or extended. It is only on one foot where the laces would be on a sneaker from the bottom of my toes to the top of my ankle. It is incredibly sore. It feels like a charlie horse of pulled muscle. Four or five years ago I gave in and had the surgury for Plantat Fasciitis, best relief I ever had for my pain. I've had no real change in weight or activity since this pain started. Ice and Advil seem to help ease the pain somewhat but with four boys in the summer months can't rest the foot very long. The only thing I can think is that I haven't worn sneakers with support lately because of the summer temperature. Anyone have anything similar, some help, please??Thanks in advance, Mama Dukes

Dear MDukes
I would recommend that you follow-up with your doctor for an evaluation. It may be a tendonitis but only a basic physical exam would help to determine your appropriate diagnosis.
