Dear Lisa
Sometimes people develop pain in another part of the foot due to compensation. Due to the pain that you may be experiencing to the heel or arch , you may have altered the way that you normally walk. This sometimes results in an increased applied pressure to other areas of the foot that normally does not experience the load applied therefore, resulting in pain. You need to probably go see your podiatrist in order to determine if the pain is due to compensation or something else.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
