I suffer from Milroys Disease, and because my feet and legs are grossly swollen, my skin in lots of areas of the feet and legs have become dead - brown looking and hard to remove. The worst parts are in the grooves that have become indented due to the swelling. Any ideas on how to get rid of the dead skin without causing injury or inflammation. I have to be careful not to split the skin which happens sometimes and causes me to have cellulitis. Thanks for your help.

Dear Georgina
I would recommend that you have your wounds examined and treated by your Podiatrist , medical doctor or wound care specialists who deal with chronic and acute wounds. If you can help it , don't pick at these lesions.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,

I have the same problem and have been told to moisturize with E45 Lotion twice daily - within a few weeks you will see and feel the differance - hope this helps you a little Rosemary McC
