My pain in on the top of my foot toward the center and radiates up my leg a couple of inches. Do you know what can cause this? I have been wearing sandels that has a strap that runs across the top of my foot, not sure if this is the problem. It has been hurting for a couple of days.

Try wearing different shoes, that way you will be able to detemrine your sandals are the irritating factor resulting in the pain going up your leg. If the pain persists go see your local Podiatrsi for an evaluation.
