at night, my foot itches like crazy but the itch seems like its under the skin so no matter how hard i scratch, itll never go away. its right under my big toe and ball of my foot area. its sucks bc im in the middle of the night bc its there. it doesnt happen everynight.

anyone know a diagnosis for this thanks.

It could be athletes foot.

Is the sensation more like a tingling that makes you want to scratch your foot? Tingling sensation is most commonly associated with nerve damage and is called peripheral neuropathy. The most common cause of peripheral neuropathy is diabetes but it can also be due to a vitamin deficiency, HIV, and alcoholism toname a few. I would suggest having test done by you doctor.
