I have what I think is athlete's foot on the sole of my feet. It is on the ball of my left and right foot right in the center. When I go to take off my socks in the evening, they are usually stuck to my feet. They burn and feel cracked. Is this athlete's foot and what should I use to get rid of it?

Hi ! Try Lamisil that is over the counter. This was recommended by my primary care office. It is more expensive than the Dr Sholl brand but it is supposedly more effective. If not I would go to a doctor or podiatrist to have it checked out.

I would suggest trying the over the counter Lamisil but if this does not clear up the infection you may need a presciption strength medication. Also, Lamisil is only used for fungal infections and your infection could be caused by a bacteria.
