I recently noticed very little round liquid balls developing on my toes. Its only my right foot. If i pop it, a clear liquid comes out. If i leave them alone the liquid seems to dry up and form a mini calus type of thing. I've never had any type of foot problems until recently. Does anybody know what this could be.

Thank you.

Hi,

No itching and some sweating over the last year since i've moved to Hawaii. I usually wear flip-flops.

New clear liquid balls have stopped showing up. The caluses are slowly coming off. Just curious what this could be.

Thank you.

biggrin.gif I think this is a condition called Pompholix which can occur on the hands and/or the feet. It often seems to pop up at times of stress. The treatment is really palliative and it goes away on its own eventually. If any of the lesions are painful get your foot care specialist to "pop" them and dress them. I have found daily soaks with a very weak solution of potassium permanganate helps.

"Pompholyx" is also known as "dyshidrotic eczema. In my experience usually occurs with patients who tend to sweat a lot. Unfortuanately, it is not easily remedied. The potassium permagenate may help, you may also use tea backs in warm water or prescription preparations given to you by your docotor depending on your individual case.

Good-luck,

Hi I had this condition for about 10 years until I finally went to a foot doctor. It some type of fungus. He gave me medication to put on it and it wenet away. It's been 5 years now and still no signs of it. The liquid balls will come and go over the 10 year period.

The medication he gave is lomil, I think. It's a foot fungus medication you can buy at any discount store. Try this or any other foot fungus medication you can buy for cheap and the fungus will go away.

I have these blisters on my fingers and just gould out the name for it also. I saw a photo and I have recently been diagonased with a thyroid problem. You may want to have that checked. My Endo did not say it was caused by this but maybe an autoimmume problem. I leave mine alone and they go away on their own, but, they do sometimes itch. Folks with this usually are allerigic to nickle also, I cannot wear cheap jewelry and never could.
Good luck!
