I have been suffering from severe pain in my (flat) feet, especially the toes. It is all of the toes, and it feels like someone is hammering them and they are on fire. This has been going on about 75% of every day for about years. I now wear more expensive, larger and wider shoes, but it does not help. Xrays show a white cloudy area around most of the toes, which they say is arthritis. How can I get relief?

Dear Marjorie,
Unfortunately, arthritis is not very easy to deal with. Have you seen a Podiatrist? If so, have they tried possibly applying any sort of accommadative devices such as an orthotic in your shoes? It is a good option, definately something worth exploring.
If you haven't been to see your Podiatrist I suggest that you should follow-up with him/her.
Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
