My 19 yr old son was recently turned down for the military due to bunions on his feet. Does anybody have any advise as to how to get a waiver approved.....he has been active in sports all of his life and does not experience pain that limits his abilities to walk, run, or play hockey. Thanks.

Dear Terry,
Found out through a collegue who has military experience that your son can sign a waiver stating that his bunions are not symptomatic and can still be able to join the army. The waiver is obtained through the army.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
