Full Version: Shooting Toe Pain!
I've been having very severe, startling, shooting pains in my right toes for the past hour and a half. I used to have this happen from time to time, but it hasn't been this severe for at least a couple of years. It hurts a lot and is driving me to tears. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this and what I can do about it??

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL IAM RIGHT NOW IN SEVERE PAIN INGET THIS PAIN IN MY RIGHT TOE SOMETIMES IN THEE OTHER FOOT AND I CANT EVEN GO TO WORK NOT EVEN PUT MY SHOE ON IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE CRUSHED MY BONES I CANT AFFORD TO EVEN GO TO THE DOCTOR IT SUCKS!!!! BUT I NOTICE THREE THINGS THAT IT MIGHT BE 1ST THING IS : STANDING ON YOUR FEET AND CARRING HEAVY THINGS CAUSES IT TO START . 2ND : EATING SWEET THINGS LIKE CANDY OR ANYTHING WITH SUGAR CAUSES IT 3RD EATING SALTY THINGS CAN CAUSE IT . I LOOKED IT UP AND IT SAID THAT MAYBE IT COULD HAVE BEEN CAUSE BY ALOT OF WORKING OUT WHEN YOU YOUNG THERE NO CURE BUT JUST REST.

Sharp shooting pain sounds like nerve pain. You should go and have it checked out by a Podiatrist, especially since its been going on for so long.
