For the past week and a half I have had pain in my right foot, its like Im over pronating? I think its due to the pregnancy but Im not sure. I went to the podiatrist and all he could do is wrap my foot and it helped a bit, but now the pain is back ( Its funny though my foot hurts more when I wear sneakers than when I walk barefoot) The only way for me to walk is by limping and its like every time a take a step the pain is in the arch of my foot. My doctor cant take an x-ray or give me drugs because of the pregnancy, but I work full time and I have to be able to walk!

Am I the only one experiencing this foot pain? Oh also hardly any of my cute shoes fit, cause they are soo swollen but I thought that happened later in pregnancy?

Sooo frustrated!!!

Dear Monica,
Try stretching your calf muscles. While in bed. Take a towel and apply it to the ball of the foot. Pull the foot towards you and hold the stretch for 10 seconds, then repeat 30 times.

Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
