Ok, for my friend and i's debate we are against a person saying that barbarians didn't wear shoes in the old ages and that you could care for your feet by walking on logs. What information could be used against this person? Please answer as soon as possible. Thanks

Dear Me,
Where should I start. Barbarians didn't wear shoes because they probably did not have the appropriate matterial. However, they may have applied some sort to protective sheild on their feet to protect from harsh weather and other dangerous elements. As far as the other point regarding walking on logs to care for feet is probably just a myth. Walking on logs is uncomfortable and would make your feet tired because you would have to comform your feet to the shape of the logs. Eventually the small muscles in your feet would become tired and uncomfortable.
