Dear Stripe,
Buring sensation to feet is actually a common complaint. However, I do have a couple questions. Where specifically do you have pain? Is it between the toes? If so which ones? Or is the burning pain on the bottom of your foot? Do you have any medical problems?
I will discuss briefly a few causes, see if any apply to you. Burning sensations can be simply due to improper shoe gear or mechanically induced due to chronic shearing forces. It also can result from a "neuroma" which is an enlargement of the nerve commonly between the 3rd and 4th toes but can occur between any of the toes. It can also be secondary to other medically related issues such diabetes, syphillis, alcoholism, heavy metal ingestion, thyroid disorder, Hansen's disease or due to medication, the list goes on.....
I hope that I provided you with some insite to your condition. If you require more attention, if your condition worsens, see your Podiatrist.
