My problem is actually foot odor.
Anyway here it goes. During my puberty, (Im 17 now) at about 14yo, is when my bad smell started.First I didnt know what it was and decided not to pay attn to it. Thinking it will be better, well I was wrong.
The interesting thing is, I don't smell bad at all, until I put my feet inside any shoes.Once my feet are inside the shoes, thats when they start to smell VERY BAD, and I have tried most of the products on the market to no avail. When I take my feet out of the shoes, the smell is gone!!!! The school is the worst place for me right now. I'm a junior in high school by the way.
Then a while back I sign up for a program in our city for teenagers to like volunteer. I had to buy boots. So I bought boots and guess what I never smelled bad in those boots!!!! While going to school in shoes I would smell like poop/rotten cheeze you name it... for miles.
Then I got a job and was waring boots there, and also no smell... however going to school in regular shoes would cause me to stink bad. So I was happy. As long as I didnt stink at work and at that volunteer programs it was fine with me.
Until, I decided to wear boots to school, thinking since I dont stink in them. And how wrong I was, I still stunk bad at school. After that no matter where I went in boots I stunk bad, so I was really dissapointed. I even tried buying different boots and boots that cost more money.
____
When I wear slippers without socks I don;t smell bad at all, but I dont think we can wear slippers to school, let alone work or that volunteer program.
Another thing... between 7th grade(when my smell started) and 8th grade I stated at home the whole summer, didnt go out anywhere, since none of my friends drove yet, and I like to stay at the computer, well back to 8th grade the first 5 weeks were smell free, after that the smell returned.
Interesting huh? I know it might not make a lot of sense, It doesnt make a lot of sense even to me.
thx for reading.

If the boot you wore to school was the exact same boot you wore to work, that is an odd coinsidence. Are you more nervous at school? I would suggest you try an acrylic sock that wicks moisture away from the foot, you can find them at a sporting good store. You also want to make sure you do not have a bacterial or fungal infection which can increase odor in the shoes. If you do have an infection it will strive in warm, dark, moist areas such as your shoes. Changing your socks a couple times a day and always after playing sports, and never wear the same shoe two days in a row so the shoe has the opportunity to air out. Have your doctor check your feet for an infection.

Hi,
Try using Cotton socks with Odor preventing and Sweat removal properties. I've seen people who use such Socks are able get rid of the Smelly & Sweaty feet problems.

On the market now are socks that have silver in them (example:80% Cotton 20% Elastic Yarn
plus 0.3%w/w Nano SilverĀ®) which could help to control odor.
their is also topcover matereal that can do the same brand name Xstatic
hope this helps

Dear Blah
I would recommend that you follow-up with a Podiatrist or your medical doctor. You may have an underlying fungal/ bacterial infection going on which may be a result of hyperhydrosis or excessive sweating. Or maybe you may not have an infection going on at this time however if you are sweating excessively it is creating the perfect environment in your shoe/boot for bacteria and/or fungus to breed. There are definately ways of treating your problem successfully however it will require you to seek medical attention for a thorough evaluation. If you are under 18, you will need to bring a parent or guardian with you for the evaluation.
Good-luck and thank-you for contacting foot.com,
