Hey, Recently i've noticed the top of my foot, and about 3 inches up my shin is sort of numb...I have normal feeling everywhere else...and it feels only skin deep? I don't know how to explain it exactly...I can feel scratches...i can feel hot and cold...but It still feels somewhat numb..It's getting me worried...any ideas?

Oh and no I don't have diabetes.

There are different types of feeling, sharp/dull, vibratory, positional, to name a few. You can lose one or more of these different sensations but don't have to lose all at once. I would suggest having a neurological test done by your doctor.

Do you have numbness only in one foot or in both? What has changed in this month? Maybe your shoes are guilty?
