robert
I am looking for some serious advise. I have had Plantar Fasciitis (heel spurs) for a very long time. I am active in many sports so needless to say the morning after is painful, but as the day goes on the pain goes away. Recently I felt a pain like no other, it actually felt like a tendon or ligament snapped..a popping sound which made it extremely hard to walk on. If anyone ever expieienced this condition your help would be greatly appreciated.
DOCTOR DNK
Well if you heard and/or felt a pop then you must seek medical care from your podiatrist. You could have ruptured a tendon which can be a serious condition and can require surgery and immobilization. Your doctor may also have to request an MRI to determine the severity of your condition. Please do not hesitate and consult with a doctor now.
