How can i deal with an ingrown toenail oin my left foot (outside big toe)? I have tried the soaking lots and then put a perscribed lotion on and never worked but also tried the antibiotic meds that u swallow and it never even helped. I have a fobia for the doctors office so what could i do at home to make it heal and not be sore? Thanks very much biggrin.gif
DOCTOR DNK
Well if those things have not worked then you need medical care. The doctor can remove the offending nail spicule after numbing the toe. You may need to take antibiotics prescribed by the doctor. You do not want to let a nail infection linger for too long since it can lead to potential bone erosion and a severe infection.
