When my fiance plays bastetball or runs for more than 10 minutes, his feet go numb. Is there anything that he can do to try to get rid of that pain?
DOCTOR DNK
Well, if his feet are continuing to become numb then he needs to be seen by a doctor. your feet do not become numb for no reason at all, there is either an underlying medical condition or a nerve damage or entrapment issue that needs to be evaluated. Your fiance will probably require a nerve conduction study to determine which nerve is effected. Also, if it only occurs during exercising or walking I would tend to believe that there is some compression occuring to the nerve during these activities which is causing the numbness. Please let us know how he does after his visit to the doctor.
